Hi, I just bought this laptop off of EBAY, and I'm trying to get an operating system on it. When I put the windows 2000 CD in the drive, all it does is say "Invalid System Disk." When I tried putting the floppy disks in for win 2000, I get this message that says Boot I/O: error reading disk, or something to that effect. PLEASE HELP ME!!!

Sounds like you need to get into the bios and change the boot order. Invalid system disk is a message from trying to boot the hard drive not the cdrom.
Get into the bios and change the boot order.

My boot order is already set to boot to the CD ROM drive first.

I'm really confused about this whole thing... I was thinking maybe there's something off about the hard-drive?? Because when I boot up with the floppy disk drive in, it won't even boot to a:/ it just gives me the invalid system disk error.
