Hi Guys;
I hope you can help.
My system started running real slow - to the point of restarting and I was going to run my SpySweeper software, but the night got too late. The next day, I started to bootup when I remembered that I wanted to install a TDK CD-RW, so I pressed and held the Power Button, to shut it back down, before the system could complete bootup. After installing the CD-RW, I attempted to bootup and where it would normally go to the Windows 2K OS and complete the startup, it gave me the message "BOOT DISK NOT FOUND. PLEASE INSERT BOOT CD AND TRY AGAIN.
I tried everything that I could imagine, from resetting the BIOS to reinstalling the OS on a different partician to no avail.
I am presently preparing to download a copy of the Award Modular BIOS v4.51 PG, thinking that my BIOS - the same version - has become corrupt.
Is this the proper possible fix, or am I missing something?
Thank you, in advance.
Grant

How did you configure the CD drive? Seconday Master/Slave? In your BIOS is the CD drive set as the first boot device? If so, was there a CD in the drive when you booted the machine?
