I tried installing a CD-RW Drive with little luck. Now, not only will the drive not work, but I have a more serious problem. After logon, I get a dialog box that says "Can't find acgshl32.exe. Creating Error Log." After I click OK, I get a blank blue screen. I can still move the mouse, but that's it -- I'm forced into a restart with the same results. This is on an IBM Aptiva 2153-E2N running Win2000 Pro. Any suggestions?

turn on the system, start pressing F8, F8, F8 every second until you get to the boot menu, select safe mode
Once booted into safe mode, remove the burner software using add/remove programs from the control panel.

Thanks Brian,

I took your advice, but I'm getting the same error message even in Safe Mode. Now that I'm in front of my computer, I can tell you that it reads: "acgshl32.exe has generated errors and will be closed by Windows. You will need to restart the program." Any idea what 'acgshl32.exe' is?
