I don't know what to do!!!...I've gotten two blue screen errors when running

programs. The first was when I ran NAV...it was fine for about 5 mins, and then

I got the blue screen:

***stop: 0x00000024 (0x0019256, 0xBB63D36C, 0xBB63CFC4, 0xBFF06B2B)
NTFS_FILE_SYSTEM

And after rebooting, I got an "navapsvc.exe application error" stating: "The

instruction at "0x77F8764C" referenced memory at "0xFFFFFFFC". The

memory could not be "read".

Before all of that, I had a spyware on my computer. It was similar to this:

http://doxdesk.com/parasite/lop.html So i went into the registry, following the

steps, and deleted some of the registry items...such as...
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Telep

hony\DomainName
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\VxD\MSTCP\Do

main
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Parameter

s\Domain

I think that I did something wrong in the above step, and wasn't supposed to

delete the "domain" item. Anyway, then I ran a spybot program which found

more spyware and deleted it from the registry. Upon restarting, I started

Nero.exe and got an error msg, saying I either had a virus or had to re-install

nero. So I ran Norton Anti Virus (which is when I got that first blue screen) and

after re-installing Nero, I tried to run it again, and got this second blue screen:

***stop: 0x0000000A (0x01000020, 0x00000002, 0x00000000,

0x8043909F)
IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

So what do I do? Is this being caused by some kind of deletion in the registry

that was supposed to be left as is? Does anyone know what's going on?!?!?

Please email me back asap or post a reply!! Thank you!

Indeed you have deleted required registry values for your system. Do you have a backup of the registry, an ERD or a copy of the keys you deleted?

Thank you so much...i'll check out that site...I don't have a current backup of the registry...i have a back up from the past, which I made before I installed my new os, but that just may cause more problems. Can I restore my registry somehow, safely, without having a backup? What's ERD?

I checked out the help section of regedit:

>>>>To restore the registry

Click Options, and then click Print to print these instructions. They will not be available after you shut down your computer in step 2.
Click Start, and then click Shut Down.
Click Restart, and then click OK.
When you see the message Please select the operating system to start, press F8.
Use the arrow keys to highlight Last Known Good Configuration, and then press ENTER.
NUM LOCK must be off before the arrow keys on the numeric keypad will function.

Use the arrow keys to highlight an operating system, and then press ENTER.
.........
Notes

Choosing Last Known Good Configuration provides a way to recover from problems such as a newly added driver that may be incorrect for your hardware. It does not solve problems caused by corrupted or missing drivers or files.
When you choose Last Known Good Configuration, Windows 2000 restores information in registry key HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet only. Any changes you have made in other registry keys remain

is this a reliable way to restore my registry?? Please help! thanks :/ These are the registries I remembered deleting:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\VxD\MSTCP\
>> the "domain" key from this folder

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\MSIETS
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\MSIETSLink
>>deleted both these folders

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
>>deleted a key in this folder, something I knew was spyware (save.exe or something)

..........K....the only thing I can think of now is that there's a driver that has issues, trying to access memory but can't, or the spyware that i tried to remove is still partially on my system trying to access info and stuff, or a faulty ide controller driver, or something to do with NAV cuz I ran it again and got this msg:
"***stop: 0x000000C2 (0x00000040, 0x01000000, 0x8000000, 0x0000000)
BAD_POOL_ CALLER"

maybe I deleted a nav file, or some key that it uses? what can i do???
