Hello there!! well I just made a mistake and my W2K doesn't give anything at all when I turn on the computer. what did I do? I just change the settings of my desktop. I selected 16 colours and the maximun pixels in order to have everything as small as it can get. BIG MISTAKE. now I can't see anything. I can boot in safe mode but that doesn't help because not all the software is loaded so even if i change something there it doesn't apply for normal mode. does anyone have a solution or any idea??/?? I hope you do. thanks in advance

Hello,
f/y/i any change in Safe mode to your display settings is correctly saved for next time you boot normally.
If changing back those settings doesn't work, you may have to restore 'last known good configuration' of your registry. But I don't know what losses that may involve if it is an old configuration.

PROBLEM SOLVED!! my computer is network connected therefore when i changed the settings in safe mode it didn't apply because I didn't log in localy. So I contacted my local administrator in oder to log in as a real administrator et voila!! now it's up & running again. well thank you for the suggestions.
