My system is a 1ghz P3 Compaq Presario 5000 with an integrated videocard. There is no agp slot so when upgrading the Intel 82810 4meg video card i went with a pci Geforce2 MX400. Before i added the new card i couldn't disable the old one in the Bios. And after i installed the new card the Bios set it to disable. Unfortunatly it also disabled the new card. So untill i boot into windows there is absolutly no video from either card. But once in windows BOOM!! on comes the monitor using my choice of the Intel card or the Geforce2. My problem is I need access to the bios. Or atleast into safe mode. And i can't do that without seeing the prompts and menu's. So How would i go about Disabling the old card but not the new in a Compaq Presario 5000 BIOS? Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks.
