How is everyone? I was wondering, I have a Dell system and when you first boot, a "dell.com" BIOS logo apears. Now I went and updated my BIOS the other day and I've done that, the logo stays for like 20-30 sec's before the system continues to boot. Before it would just flash up for about 1 sec that was it. So I flashed my BIOS again with the previouse version hopeing that this would fix my prob but no luck. Does anyone out there know's how to shorten the display time or even get rid of it completely?

I am not sure what type of Dell system you have, but it is most likely because the original bios setup was running a quick diagnostics rather than a full. When you flashed the bios it probably set this back to the default which is full. Any subsequent bios flash would also be set to the default; full diagnostic check. Consult your owners manual or Dell's web site for the instructions for returning the bios to this quick boot.
