Hi..
Am consistently experiencing a problem with my PC. I have a Western Digital 10Gig Hdisk. Sometimes, the Bios is able to detect the correct size.. and that's when I am able to boot up the PC. But there are also times when it only detects 8Gig.. and it refuses to boot up. I am worried about this. I previously have a Maxtor Hdisk and now, i cannot use it anymore. I am scared that it has something to do with my motherboard or other components in my PC. My Western Digital hdisk seems to be nearing its death. I don't want to buy a new hdisk and experience this problem again. What do you think should I do?

hi
you could try format that disk and c if they that works could be to do with the master boot record on the drive. back up first.

Try the above, but personally i would reset my Bios first, and redectect all my hardware, to do this you will need to find the BIOS jumper on your motherboard, your pc manual should show you exactly where it is.
