Hi all I have a win2k machine (system info is below from dxdiag) A few days ago I started getting lag watching videos. My machine is connected to my mates machine via cat5 cable, (he lives in the same block of units) The reason I say that my machine is connected is because yesterday he said to me he has been getting lag and he described the exact thing the had happend to me, and I hadn't told him yet.... So that makes me think that it is some network problem, but its not while we are playing, its the machines themselves. Any Ideas on what it could be? his machine is using an asus a7m266 with 1.6xp, and the lag happend the same time as mine aprox. I had tried shutting down processes that I didn't need and it didn't fix it, the system looks good to me, heaps of ram and cpu left even when playing a movie, but the movie lags, games lag, even mp3's lag....
