Dear All,

Could someone please tell me what does the following log from ZONEALARM mean?

The firewall has blocked routed traffic from 202.160.128.14 to 224.0.0.5 (IP Protocol 89).

Occurred: 361 times between 21/06/2002 9:46:28 AM and 21/06/2002 10:46:28 AM

I am using dial-up intenet connection and got these messages almost every few hours since 2 days ago.

Does it mean that I am being attack?

Regards,
EK

No, it means Zone Alarm has prevented someone from attacking you. It blocked them and you are safe.

If you check what your IP address is when you dial up and get online. You will probably find most of those entries are echo pings from your ISP. Only the entries that are different than your actuall IP address are people try to scan your ports.
If your not on a Lan........make sure you disable file and print sharing. With file and print sharing enabled.......if they get through Zonealarm they can log directly to your computer with full access rights.
