After booting (and getting to my desktop) I got this message:
stop: 0x00000050 (0xe4fd6220, 0x00000001, 0x8046a992, 0x00000001)
Page fault in nonpaged area
Address 8046a992 base at 80400000, datestamp 4344ec59 - ntoskrnl.exeBeginning dump of physical memory
At this point I reboot and during bootup I get this message:
Stop: c0000218 (registry file failure)
the registry cannot load hive (file):
\systemroot\system32\config\software or its log a alternative
it is corrupt, absent, or not writableBeginning Dump...
So I reboot again and everything is OK. Do I have something to worry about? What do these messages mean? and how can I correct them?
Thanks

Sometimes registry errors are a sign of a RAM stick failing. You can run a memory test by downloading from www.docmemory.com (you "create" floppy from download - don't just put download on floppy).
Otherwise try cleaning RAM edge connectors with a pencil eraser and if this doesn't help try one RAM stick at a time in first position.
