Hey, today I came back to my room and my monitor had completely frozen.. so I hit reset - only to get a blank screen and a beeping motherboard.... I opened up my case and nothing smelled like it was burning at all, and nothing was overheated. I let it sit for 4 hours and rebooted, beeping.. I unplugged everything, and plugged it all back in, beeping.. It's a K7T266 Pro ATX Mainboard

Hi
If it's a beeping sequence from the BIOS it may be a memory module that's passed out.Your system won't boot itself with a module that's "out of order".
Try to remove one module at a time(if you have 2 or 3 modules of RAM installed)and see if you can reboot with less RAM but working ones.
Let us know the results.

This is due to conflict IRQ, normally between Com port and other PCI. You can solve this by disable one of the com : Com 1 or com 2

I have this same problem. It started last night. At first, the ram check stopped at about 100, rebooted, then it checked the whole thing. Went into windows, I started to play a game, then the computer shut off.
Now when I boot up, I hear a constant beep from the motherboard. Every 2 seconds it beeps.
Some people at work say it's the RAM. SO i will need to replace it.
