how can i disable backweb agent. i have a compaq armada M700 running w2k and i have been noticing a number of odd things happening every time i check taskmanager backweb agent is running. what can i do

On my machine, it had an entry in Add and Remove Programs. Backweb is a piece of junk spyware application installed by the computer manufacturer. You are right to remove it.
