I am having trouble getting rid of "backdoor.sdbot" I have followed all the isntructions from Norton, and have discovered a program called "as.exe" that Norton keeps saying contains this virus. I have tried deleting all mentions of "as.exe" from all the registries and from the task manager. Every time I try to delete "as.exe" the machine tells me it cannot delete the file because it is in use. Please help. I do not know how to proceed. Norton tries to quarantine the fiel and reports failure. I get the same results when I tell Norton to delete the file. All suggestions appreciated.

it boots up with windows. remove its autostart entries from the registry and/or
system.ini, win.ini, winstart.bat, wininit.ini, autoexec.bat, etc...
Then reboot and delete the trojan
