I have MS Outlook XP (with win 2000). From within some emails, if I go to the menu FILE>PRINT, I can choose whatever printer I need from the drop down menu. From other mails, if I do the same thing, the dropped down listing of printers is greyed out..leaving me with a default greyed out printer choice. I tried finding common points between the mails that do not give me a choice of printers...but there are none: some have attachments, some do not have ...etc. I tried same thing with another user profile: same problem. This problem does not occur with other programs (Word, excel, etc..). What can I still try? Thanks for replying.

If you said you were having this problem only with emails that contain attachments, then you'd be out of luck, as this is by design. However, since you say that's not the case, and there are no commonalities with the "problem" emails, I'd recommend updating to SP3 and see if that helps.
