Hi, I have an ALS100+ soundcard (ISA and PnP) and when I first installed windows 2000 it worked fine (after I downloaded and installed the drivers from Avance's site), but there was a scratchy whistling sound to the end of each wav...so I tried drivers for a newer card (I wasn't *positive* that I had the 100+ but I checked and I do)...after I rebooted after installing the new drivers (removing the old ones first of course) I got a blue screen...exception not expected or something...so I booted using the last known good hardware profile....worked fine but no sound and when I tried to reinstall my old drivers the sound card wouldn't work....note: these are only for the enhanced 3d sound for playing wav files and all...MIDI still works fine (Never touched those drivers) also...the first time I tried to install it it gave me a list of PnP devices it detected but weren't installed...it doesn't do that now...I've tried resetting PnP config through my bios...booting win2k without the card in my system ...everything...if anyone can help please do so.
Hi I need the driver for Windows 2000 for ALS100+. The Avance site has drivers for ALS100 for Win2000 but not the Win2000 drivers for ALS 100+. If you have them, it is a pretty small file please mail it to to me at anshuman_iit@yahoo.com
