I want to schedule my win2k system to automatically shutdown at my prescribed time. Is there any way to get this done ??

There's quite a few programs that have excellent user interfaces, such as the free download Pweroff 3.0. There are also scripts you can write using the shutdown.exe or psshutdown.exe executables you can find on your pc or online. Once you find either one of these, you can go to the command line at type pssutdown /? and you can see all the options. But for a quick & easy solution, download Poweroff 3.0 (don't remember the site).
