I recently tried to upgrade from windows Me to 2000 professional. Now when i try to log on with my user name and password my computer automatically reboots and returns to the same log on prompt. I cant even access my CD drive to try to reinstall windows Me. Any help. When in safe mode nothing shows up but the log on screen still doesnt work
Thanks

i use 2k a great os and it doen't chew up as much hd as xp. u must have screwed up during the install which is a pain. my advise is to format the hd with a startup disk and reinstall it should work fine. go to microsoft web site and into the knowledge base(kb), article Q255867 should give u instructions on formatting the hd. good luck.
