AutoLogon & Password Complexity

Hi,
I have window 2000. I need to do the following:
1. Setup auto logon when window first boot up
2. Disable "Password complexity Requipment" I tried under control panel admin tool, local prolicy the local setting is disabled but i could not disable the effective setting.

Anyone could help??? thanks

just additional info on auto logon.
I have setup a user called AutoRun user I want this user to automatic boot into window from startup.

at the moment the computer is not part of the domain.

Previously i dont know as i got this computer from a customer. They setup windows 2000 already.

What is GPO?
