Auto logoff users after set time

I was wondering if there was a way to setup my Windows 2000 PCs to automatically logoff users if there accounts were logged in, but inactive for a set amount of time, say 15 minutes or so.
I think I read something where I would need a Win 2000 server with Active Directory to do such a thing, but I just wanted to confirm this or find out if someone has an alternate solution. Thank you.
