how to setup the external CDR if the computer already bundle with build in scsi. How to make the system read only for external scsi without pass through build in scsi. and I using CDR Yamaha 400tX - missing the installer and driver.... so how to make it work in Win2000.

John, I have a memorex cdrw 1622 installed on my machine. The motherboard is asus p3v4x (latest bios) running win2000. I also upgraded the memorex bios. The bios of my motherboard keeps loosing my CDRW drive. Is that aspi related? If so could you send me the dll please?

I found a site with the ASPI driver, The driver actually works! Its ASPI layer 4.60 but its cracked so you don't need any prevoius ASPI layers, or any Adaptec software or host adapters!
