I have an APTIVA 2193-32U with intergrated Networking and am having problems getting the Network card to recognize. I have gone to IBM's site and downloaded the proper drivers.. at least what i thought was the proper drivers with no luck. I need some help on how to unistall the drivers that are in there and also where i could go to find the right drivers or maybe the steps i should be following to setup the drivers i have. I am using Windows 2000. ANy help would be great.
Thanks

Is the Ethernet enabled in the BIOS?

Have you checked the manufacturer marked on the Ethernet Chipset believes yours is a SIS type?

Have you downloaded the advanced diagnostic floppy from IBM and used that?

In control panel there is an add and remove section, also in device manger you can remove the actual ethernet card if it has put an entry there!

Lastly W2K should recognise this chip as a P&P device, does it do so? No good installing drivers if device not installed!
