Hi,

Ive downloaded the 100mb SP2 pack only to find its corrupt about 75% way through
perhaps a disk crash had damaged the file
while getright was downloading..

now to save me lots of time downloading it
again.. I thought I cut the file up to
60% original size and pipe it back into
getright.. as getright doesnt allowed to
start in certain location in the file
only rolls back 999kb

I got a work around.. saved the 100mb to
a fat partition and booted back to OLD DOS
and ran nortons diskedit.. and edited the
directory listing file size for file
and piped it back into getright...
after recopying it to make sure only copied
what I adjusted the size too.

NOW, to save alot of hassle
does any one know of a diskedit like nortons
one for windows 2000.. surely editing
file dates and size should be possible
with the right tool instead of using DOS

Cheers
Paul.
