Hello there..
I was just wondering if there is any way that programs i installed under win2k could be run under win98.
In different words: I have a dual boot and I REALLY REALLY don't want to install the same program twice just on different system.
thanx...

Pavel,
Not sure if this will work however it's worth a try. Firstly, you must obviously make sure that the partition on which your programs are installed under W2K are visible to the 98 partition. Next, try modifying (or creating) the file AUTOEXEC.BAT in the Root directory (C:\) of your Windows 98 partition.
Add the following line:
Path=x:\Windows;x:\Windows\System;
Replace x with the W2K drive letter.
Reboot your computer into Windows 98
Try running the application(s) in question.
Like I said, I'm not sure if it will work or not but it's worth a shot!
Good luck

I have the same situation. Just install the programs to the same locations from both OS's.
That way you wont use hard drive space for two installs.
