Just got the Logitech quickcam express. Stupid thing has win2k drivers on disk and appeared to install correctly. When asked to plug in camera, the machine immediatly rebooted. This has happened repeatedly.
In fact, I can't even uninstall the quickcam software b/c it indicates the "install log" is corrupted.. what a piece of junk.
Anyone having similar problems. I see Logitech is offering new drivers for the cam released on Dec. 14, 2000. Maybe this will help?

Well, TRY THE NEW DRIVERS! If it doesn't work, return the POS logitec cam, and get another one. I hate logitec, always will, ther support is horrible and they dont care what you think of them as long as you purchase their product and as long as they get their money.

You have to stop it from rebooting when it shuts down then plug in the cam

I had the same problem with my quick cam express rebooting under Win 2000! I fixed it by going in my device manager and uninstalling my USB root hub and rebooted. It found my camera and scanner, everything is working fine know
