Why are you using the Codenames of AMD processors? Why not us the regular names given to them. Anyway, Palomino is the Athlon XP processor, which is the newest line of AMD processors, they are expected in stores Oct. 7 or Oct. 8. There are models of the XP processor, known as Model 1500, 1600 and 1800. But that does not mean a thing excepts each model's speed, 1.3GHz, 1.4GHz and 1.53GHz.

The AYHJA, I believe is the Thunderbird processor. The Thunderbird is what you usually find in top of the line benchmarks. They go up to 1.4GHz so far.

Hope this helps! BTW, go for a Thunderbird :)

I have a 1.2GHz Thunderbird and it's O/C'd to 1.4GHz and it's runnin quite happily. This is a fantastic chip anyway so go for one of these :)

I live in Sweden and the Palamino hasnät been released there. I dont know if it has i USA. But the t-bird is the best buy according to me. It is much cheaper than the XP. And the Palamino will be quit expensive the first couple of months.
