Comment:

I have setup a personal Linux box for me at work and I need to allow it to relay through my Exchange server so I can send email out. I'm just using POP to receive email. I've gone into my SMTP virtual server and allowed only the Linux machine's IP address to Relay. Will this cause any issues with being an Open Relay or other security problems?? Thanks.

A: if you only allowed the local ip address of your linux box
B: you are behind a firewall/router

if you comply w/ A and B yes, your ok as far as security goes
