allow computer acess my W2k

I want my computer to allow incoming connection remotely from dial-up. I try to configure my computer in network connection with incoming all but I got an error saying that RRAS was not unable
have you started the ras service?or go back further yet, have you installed ras from your setup cd into networking?The other point is, you dont actually need ras running, you can do this through "make new connection" through networking, where it will say allow other computers to connect to mine.

goto administrative tools and check servies to see if that service is running, also ,this might sound nuts, but see if event log is running
