hi how do i take the !alert Cover was Previosly Removed message out. this message appears when the computer is booting.

On my Dell PC you have to reset this 'switch' in the bios. During power up enter the bios (Del key or F! etc), look for the 'Cover removed' dialogue and reset it, continue the reboot.

Upon bootup, see what key you need to press to get into BIOS. My Dell OptiPlex GX110 shows F2=Setup. When in your BIOS, look for Intrusion Detection, set to Disable, Save & Exit, you are good to go.

I cannot find "Intrusion Detection" or 'Cover removed' dialogue in my BIOS...I have Dell OptiPlex GX110...Please someone let me know how to remove the "Alert, Cover was previosly removed" message.

Look for system security in the bios intial menu, then there is a cover option, there you can reset, turn off etc !
