Using an Agfa Snapscan e40 with Scanwise 1.40 under W2K works only as admin. As Power User Scanwise doesn't find the scanner. I followed the install. instructions of the readme but yet without success. Does anyone know a solution? Thanks for any help!

Add the user to the local admin's group, log on as that user, test the software, log off as that user, remove them from the local admin's group, log back on as a standard user and see if it works.
Sometimes the software just needs to write once to a restricted space in the registry...
