I've just apply SP3 and Windows Update today... after that all Windows NT workstations claim can't login to domain (even locally)! The message prompt (on NT4 ws) when logon locally:
The system could not log you on. Make sure your user name and domain are correct, then type your password again. Letters in passwords must be typed using the correct case. Make sure that caps lock is not accidentially on.
If logon to domain:
The system cannot log you on to this domain because the system's computer account in its primary domain is missing or the password on that account is incorrect.**Yesterday, all NT ws no problem!!! Today, after apply SP3 & updates... only Win9x, 2000's clients can login!
Please HELP!!!

hallo ivan the best option you have is to formatt your hard-drive and reinstall your windows and dont apply the upgrade because it is either to advanced for you or its faulty hope it helps

But why update the domain controller (Win2K) will affect people logon locally to nt workstation? I've still don't have any idea on it!

Who cares? Just uninstall service pack 3, or if ya want, uninstall your NIC's in the PC's that wont login, and reinstall them and the appropriate network protocols/settings. BTW, u DO NOT have to reinstall windows to remove service pack 3, if you archived the data so you COULD uninstall it.
