After Sp 4 instal System is slow

I have installed sp 4 recently on win 2k .
I notice my system Starting and shut down are very slow noticably after installing sp 4.
Even internet explorer is slow while loading.
I have 128 mb ram, 800 mhz cpu . I have set 600 mb virtual memory.
I check my defragmentation of hard disk often.
Still the problem exist.
Did any one experience such thing after installing sp 4?

Yea. I noticed the same. I read some stuff...the recommended from Microsoft is that "it's ok to install on any machine, however, it's recommended ONLY for machines being used as a server"
Basically, one that's always on, and that's running services, and not being used as a terminal.
Did you save the option of uninstalling the support pack? If you did, than you have no problems. Otherwise, you can't do much.
