I have a 600 MB AdvPack.log file on my Citrix server and it is growing. I would like to know what it is, why it is there, do I need it and how can I get rid of it. I can't just delete it because the file is locked. The sysinternals handle program shows that it is locked by svchost and multiple instances of winlogon.exe. It is also in the registry under.
My Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Advanced INF Setup as type REG_SZ AdvpackLogFile and Data AdvPack.log
Does this have something to do with the HP Photosmart printer? Since it is in the Advanced INF setup registry section I suspect it has something to do with the print driver.

Sysinternals will also tell you the command line and image path that its running from. Add those fields and it should give you a clue as to where the application is running from and what its related too.
