Does someone with administrator rights can erase any folder under win2k? I am administrator and I am unable to get rid of a folder inside the c:\Documents and settings folder. It says desktop.ini is in use. Its not the current user (administrator) folder. Then I tried to erase some other files and the same problem: access denied. Someone have a clue??? Thanks in advance.

Take ownership of the file or parent folder, then delete it. The file is probably associated with the user's profile and the user is the only one with rights to it, and owns it.

Also, make sure you reboot. This usually corrects this problems assuming you have the proper permissions.
