Comment: Does anyone know how to add an NT4 workstation/member server to a W2K domain. Everytime I try to add the NT4 client it returns with 'unable to contact the domain controller for this domain'. If I try to add the machine in server manager on the W2k domain it returns with 'The directory service was unable to allocate a reletive identifier' Before you ask it is patched in and I can ping everything using server names and I can map to all drives from NT4 to W2K and W2K to NT4. I have WINS installed on the W2K domain aswell as DNS. Can anyone help. Paul
