Im running a DNS server on Win2k and I would like to automate adding of a DNS entry. Does anyone know where the file is located or a way to automate the adding of domain entries other than using the program?

What exactly is it you wish to automatically add? Windows 2000's DDNS (dynamic DNS) automatically add's client records if you check the box that tells it to dynamically update on the DNS zone property sheets (one each for forward and reverse lookup zones).
