Hi!
How do I get the administration tool "Active Directory Users and Computers" and if possible, all the other tools (for DNS, DHCP etc) on my Win2k pro. clients?
I need it because I have delegated control over an OU to a user, but I do not want him to be able to log on locally on the server (thus adding him to the administrators group).
I know it's possible, cause I've seen it, but I don't know how to do it?

Terminal services. He can create a session with the server in question via TS and access whatever you have granted him rights to.

Good solution, thank you.
There should be a way to put those tools in the menu of a Win2k pro.-computer though. I just don't remember how. Hmmm...

Yes, install the adminpak.msi from the Windows 2000 Server CD ROM. You can run the AD tools on a Pro or XP client. I would rather not have user TS into a domain controller. He would need to be an administrator and that is the last thing I would want. YOu could also create snap-ins in the MMC to DNS, DHCP, etc.
It is much better to run these tools from a client machine. Even better to run on an XP client than w2k pro.
