Hello. I have a user who is unable to read PDF's due to an ActiveX security error. It says the security is set to high. Where can I configure this to allow her to open them? I should mention that the files she's accessing are from a state website. She can, in fact, open pdf's from her desktop. It's web only that she cannot.

And, what, exactly, IS ActiveX?

Right click on Internet Explorer from the desktop and you will find the setting there.

Hmm, I did that yesterday and no luck. However, I did not reboot. I probably needed to for the changes to take affect.

Thanks

Log in as an Administrator, then go to the website and access the PDF. It should load the Active X control since you are logged in with admin privileges. Once it's loaded, she should have no problem when she's logged in as a regular user.
