This is regarding Win2k Server & Advanced Server. When using the following management consoles in the start->programs->administrative tools menu, they always cause my computer to simply freeze. The culprits are: Active Directory Domains and Trusts Active Directory Sites and Services Active Directory Users and Computers I use the users and computers console often to change user settings, add computers etc and if it doesn't hang when opening the console it definitely will after I change one or two settings. What is up with this? I then have to hit the reset button and wait for the OS to load and then log back in and make a few more changes before it hangs again, this is no way to run a server. I mean, I have installed these OS's many times and on multiple computers in different configurations and the same thing always happens. Has anyone else come accross this problem? If so please tell me a solution as you can quite understand how frustrated I am.
