Account Lockouts

Hi all,
Has anyone got any clues about account lockouts. I have created the necessary group policys on my server using Active Directory. I want account lockouts to take effect after three invalid attepmts, but for some reason it wont take work, has anyone got any clues?

I bet it doesn't. Assuming the clients are set with the proper DNS settings. I'm guessing it is a GPO setting. Did you assign it to the proper OU? Do you have the proper user and/or computer accounts in that OU? Did you give it time to replicate to other DCs if you have them?
It's a pretty simple policy. Log in more than X times incorrectly in X number of mins and you get locked out. Saying you have set the necessary policy doesn't give us much info to go. And what sort of clients are you using?

I have configured an Organizational Unit called Accounts, and under accounts i have created a user. For that OU, i have configured a group policy and restricted the control panel and created an account lockout after 3 invalid attempts. I have forced the policy to replicate using the secedit command, the control panel lockout but no such luck with the account lockout. Any clues?
