accidentally deleted my page.sys file

Comment: I was loking for space to download a prog. and accidentally deleted my page.sy file from the c:\ directory. Since then i hve not been able to boot from the drive and when i set the drive as slave and try to access it form various opperating systems including windows 2000 the directory listings comes up garbled. I can neither access the information or view it i have even try looking at the directory listings form dos. the closest i have been to recovering it was using easy recover v.5, but my zipfiles and music files were courruped. if you can help me please reply

Reply: (edit)Hello I am alomost positive that Windows 2000 can do a repair on a damaged operating system but using the installation CD. Make sure you do your homework and choose the correct options during the set up, or you could loose all data on the disk.
