I'm having problems with the About:Blank page coming up everytime I open Internet Explorer. I can change the home page and it will stay what I put in there until I close out IE. I tried spyware removers and no luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Robert Turner Computer Tech, US Army

I had the same virus. Never found a program to remove it. Spyware, Adware, McAfee Security Suite all crapped out. Unfortunately, I ended up having to wipe and reload system. Be prepared, because it does get worse; eventually any link you click on will take you to about:blank. Back up now!

You have not mentioned which anti-spyware you have used. Have you tried CWShredder? If you haven't then download it and run it while offline and in SAFE boot mode. If the problem persists then run HijackThis and post a copy of the report in the Security and Virus forum. There they will give you advice as to what you need to delete. Make sure that you inform them of the procedures you have taken to date to try and resolve the problem.
