8500DV and video conferencing

I was using my 8500dv with dwyco and iccuii and all was well until I formatted and reinstalled w2k. Now I can't use my camcorder as a capture device. It seems like all video programs use WDM which ATI does not support. Has anyone has this problem and worked around it somehow?
