i was needing to know can win 2000 read a 5 1/4 floppy drive a friend has some data on 5 1/4 floppies an he simply wants them copies to 3 1/2 disk

Plug it in, it will work fine as long as you set it up in the BIOS.

I have a 5 1/4" drive on one of my systems.

does anyone have an external 5.25 drive that can be attached through the parallel prot, that they want to sell?
