2K reboots itself after upgrade from W98

I have just upgraded my system from win 98 to win 2000. The machine just reboots itself after a few minutes.
Please help !!

Hi,

For all I know an upgraded system from 98 to 2000 or to ME can only lead to disaster.
T'would've been safer to save your data on a partition and clean install Win2K.
I'd say:save all you can and format.

I agree. The windows 2000 upgrade is really buggy. Before you reformat try to get service pack 2 from the microsoft web site and any recent patches. If it still wont work then just reformat and use the full install.
