I have a user account that I can log into the domain with on other computers, but on the actual laptop that needs to be logged in, I get an error.

The system cannot log you into the domain beacuse the system's computer account in it's primary domain is missing or the password on that account is incorrect.

I did rename the computer as I had it join the domain, could that be the cause of the problem?

I created a computer account on the NT 4.0 domain, but it said that a trust relationship could not be established after I created the account.

hep please :-)

Is your laptop win2k pro or server? The laptop needs an account identical to the one on your NT4 domain for it to work
