Hi I tried....
Here the Status of today:
PC 1 win xp 2 network cards first card DHCP configured connected to Cable network the second card used for internal Network IP 192.168.0.1 mask 255.255.255.0 Gateway: empty
PC2 W2k 2 network cards first cards DHCP configured connected to Cable network the second card used for internal network IP 192.168.0.2 mask 255.255.255.0 gateway: 192.168.0.1
PC3 w2k 1 network cards used for internal network IP 192.168.0.3 mask 255.255.255.0 gateway 192.168.0.1
PC 1 and 3 working properly. This on internal Network but also on the Internet over Win xp
PC 2 the second cards planned for internal network does not send and receive any package. even ping does not work. I tried on “cmd” Line to enter "route add 192.168.0.1 mask 0.0.0.0 192.168.0.1" also replaced "route add 192.168.0.1 mask 255.255.255.0 192.168.0.1" but did not work.
A basic Question: It looks like the w2k don't know in what case to use network card 1 for Internet and card 2 for internal network. How can I define it that I minimum can ping each Computer over the Internal Network?
How does I need to set on win xp the configuration the Network on this Computer? The way with the HUB because to acces from PC3 on Internet I need this. Does it also work for second PC? Maybe I have to rethink the Network Hardware configuration. If yes How do you recommend to do it?
Thanks for suggestion.
Francis

Pc2 has two gateways configured and this Wont work. you need to remove the gateway from the card you dont want to use for internet traffic. if card1 is dhcp is this the ip stack to get you out to the internet? If so just remove the gateway from the second card. Like the Xp PC1 you decribed. good luck

HI

I made some investigation on this Problem and I’m got one trial more to do on this Computer.
I could find out that even if I connect one or the other cable to the Added Network card it was always working. Only if I connect to the on Board Network card it doesn’t. I also checked on Bios if the card was Enabled. Finally as soon as I have a second I go to uninstall this added Card Physically and have to check if the card is still working on Board. I suppose yes so it will be a Hardware conflict, so I also go to try a 3 card on this machine, but this as soon as possible. I keep informed.

Thanks for suggestion
Francis
