I have a hard drive on a server that is near capacity. I would like to be able to add a hard drive and somehow make the server recognize both drive as one (so it would not no the difference in drives). Is this possible?
If your computer does not have the above option in the BIOS screens you can add storage space as a DYNAMIC disk. That option is available in Disk Management. Extending the capacity without adding additional letters is the purpose of use dynamic disks/arrays.
