100% cpu usage??!!

The computer is just sitting doing nothing but the cpu usage is 95+% all the time and the mem usage is 233660. Does anyone have an idea what the problem is. I've scanned the computer 5 or 6 times looking for a virus and NONE i repeat NONE are found. ANd i've got all the recent updates. Please help

open the task manager and look 4 the application which taking the CPU usage and close it manually then search 4 the applcation and delete the file ....
this might work cuz it happened with me a lot before and this is the way i solved it ..

Hello, you are having a same prob that i had once, i did the same steps as u did scanning the disk 3 or 4 times, but i found some hidding viruses, which mcafee can't locate, when windows is running and once u delete them they re-generate again eat all the CPU, i will recommend u to back up all you data and refresh your system.

Hey slow down there do not format your disk go to microsofts website and you will find that if it is on a laptop with some battery situations you need to call them to get a hotfix! i had to and it worked for me
