At my school, the PC Support teacher is teaching us about the registry. I wanted to change my screensaver on my computer in the class and he told me to do it in the registry, since they disabled the display properties to the students. So how do I set the time before it comes on and what screensaver to choose. He told me it is ok to do this, so I am not doing anything illegal.

Your teacher told you to make changes to the registry rather than letting you have access to the screen properties page. And you have just started learning how to work with the registry? I DONT THINK SO! Something smells fishy here, kid.
